Giovanni Zanobio Weber was an Italian medallist. He was the son of a German (or Austrian) officer of the Grand Duke of Tuscany's bodyguard. He worked mostly in Florence, the period of his greatest activity being between 1761 and 1786. His brother, Lorenzo Maria Weber (d. 1764), was also medallist who learned the art of medal-engraving under Massimiliano Soldani-Benzi, and worked at Florence from 1720 to 1757, chiefly employed by the Medici family. //
