Italian painter, documented between 1530 and 1533 in Milan. He was a follower of Cesare da Sesto and was influenced by Bergognone and Bramantino. His works are very much influenced by the style of Leonardo da Vinci which pervaded Lombard painting in the first half of the sixteenth century. Magni executed a signed copy of Leonardo's Last Supper (Milan, Pinacoteca di Brera). Among his notable works are: Madonna and Saints (1530, Milan, Pinacoteca Ambrosiana), Crucifixion (1531, Vigevano, Cathedral, Madonna and Saints(1531, Codogno, San Biagio), frescoes with Sts Martin and George (1533, Saronno, Santa Maria dei Miracoli). //
