Italian painter. After his activities as a restorer at the court of the Royal House of Savoy in Turin, he went to Venice to study perspective painting. Later he worked in Bologna, then in Rome as a painter of views. From 1679 he was teacher of perspective at the Academy of San Luca. He resumed contact with the court in Turin, executing paintings which are now in the Galleria Sabauda, Turin. Garoli is also known for frescoes painted for the Carpegna family in Rome and Montefeltro. //
